Nourish Your Mind and Body with Expert Healing

About Claire

For much of my life, I existed in fragments. As a neurodivergent, hypermobile woman, my path has been shaped by the particular weight of not quite fitting, and by the slow, hard-won journey back to wholeness.

I began as a dancer, training at Rambert Ballet School and later studying Anusara yoga under Bridget Woods-Kramer. From there I moved through holistic therapies, Pilates, coaching, and eventually into somatic trauma-informed work, becoming one of the first Level 7 qualified practitioners in somatic trauma-informed coaching in the world. Today I’m a psychotherapist, somatic therapist, and author, and I work primarily with women who are ready to become their own best friend and fiercest advocate.

My practice is rooted in the body. In nervous system regulation, interoception, and the quiet intelligence of the Self. I’ve worked with women, families, artists, athletes, and professionals across nearly thirty years. And what I’ve learned is this: the body always knows. We just need the right conditions to listen.

The work I do

I bring all of who I am to this practice; choreographer, coach, creator, and deeply caring human. My approach blends somatic trauma-informed coaching with a thorough understanding of the nervous system, drawing on modalities including Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the Safe and Sound Protocol, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and somatic yoga.

I’ve simplified my offering, bringing a single approach with all the modalities I’ve trained in, tailoring it to the needs of each individual client. My practice is centred on nervous system regulation, listening to the cues of the body, and making a deep connection to Self to enable healing and growth on a profound level.

I work with women primarily, because I believe that when women heal, families and communities heal. This isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about learning to occupy your body and your mind without apology.

I’m also a writer

Writing is where my therapeutic work meets its quieter counterpart. Through my imprint, Bright Raven Press, I publish The Liminal Series, a collection of literary novellas that live in the in-between spaces: the moments before transformation, the thresholds we don’t quite know how to cross.

My first novella, Little Bird, follows a family navigating the fallout of a high-needs, undiagnosed neurodivergent daughter. It’s told gently, through the eyes of her twelve-year-old brother, the invisible sibling. It’s a story about misdiagnosis, about mothers who fight for their children in systems that don’t listen, and about what it costs a family to love someone the world has failed to see.

These books are for the invisible. The unheard. The ones the system missed. A percentage of every sale funds The Little Bird Fund, which provides subsidised therapy sessions for young people and students in Cambridgeshire who can’t afford full rates.

About the logo

My logo was created by the wonderfully talented Deji Ajetomobi, a multidisciplinary designer from London who works with unique brands and curates The Torsche, a platform spotlighting exceptional African creative projects.

I gave him the most useless brief imaginable — something to the effect of “I like the colour scheme” — and he somehow got into the heart of the business anyway.

Butterflies, the way they move, how they beautify anywhere they gather. It’s peace and beauty wrapped in one. I wanted to portray this in the logo by making use of a butterfly with a feminine spherical figure as the body of the butterfly. The colours bring warmth and embodies the idea of calmness.
