Answering Your Frequently Asked Questions.

FAQs

Deciding to invest in yourself to do coaching or therapy can be daunting. When we’ve been dealing with a lot for a long time, we may have become accustomed to our ways of distracting ourselves from what’s really going on. Or we can feel blocked by the idea of spending money on ourselves this way. So I’ve put together a curated FAQ for you to help you answer the most common questions that come up.

I also invite you to book a free consultation with me to decide if a therapeutic relationship is the right fit for you and your needs right now. And if I’m the right person for you to work with. There are some areas that I may refer you onto other professionals in my network to support you with, such as eating disorders.

Please note, this is not an emergency service. If you are feeling suicidal or have suicidal thoughts or ideation, or are in a mental health crisis, please either:

  • Contact the Samaritans on 0330 094 5717

  • Dial 111 option 2 for immediate mental health support if you are in crisis

  • Or you can contact SHOUT, a text service that provides mental health support on 85258

  • Young people living in Cambridgeshire can contact Centre 33 on 0333 414 1809

  • If you are in immediate danger dial 999

What is the best approach for me?

It all depends on what you are dealing with in your life. Coaching is very much person led and more goal oriented. Whereas therapy is practitioner led where I guide you through the approach. Both have good results for supporting wellbeing.

I’m on a low income, what do I do?

Please contact me and we can discuss this at your consultation call. I want as many people as possible to benefit from support, whatever that looks like. I have created a fund for 20-30 year old women living in Cambridgeshire to support a small number of subsidised sessions. And I may be able to offer lower rates at my own discretion.

Can I pay with BACS or credit card?

Yep. I take bank transfers as a preference but can also take payment by credit or debit card.

Can I switch services once I’ve started?

If once we’ve started working together we feel an additional or different service may be of more value to you, then we can certainly accommodate that. This has got to work for you and support you in your healing, and that looks different for everyone.

Can I pay with a payment plan?

I don’t set up payment plans as such. You pay for your sessions in advance as you go along or for the month upfront.

How much does it cost?

Please go to my pricing page to get a breakdown of costs.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

Please let me know the day before your session during working hours (eg before 5pm UK time) if you need to move or cancel your appointment.

Please be respectful of mine and your time, and the needs of others. Someone can always have your spot if I have enough notice to offer it to them.
