On-Demand Therapeutic Coaching for Neurodivergent Women

My approach

This is specialised coaching designed specifically for neurodivergent women (particularly those with ADHD or AuDHD). It's for those of you who find that standard coaching or therapy models don't work with their unique neurobiology and sensory profile.

I still integrate powerful, therapeutic methodologies, including Somatic Trauma-Informed Coaching, Parts Work and Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). The core difference lies in how this deep work is delivered. I focus on flexibility and accessibility to reduce overwhelm and sensory stress often caused by rigid appointment schedules.

You are completely in control of how and when we communicate, ensuring the support fits seamlessly into your life and energy levels. You can choose the method that best suits your brain on any given day. This includes using email for asynchronous thought processing, voice notes for easy, non-visual communication, mini online check-ins for brief, focused video support, or full in-person/online sessions for deeper work.

This on-demand format respects your energy and focus fluctuations, providing reliable support without the pressure of a fixed weekly appointment.

What I can help you with

Neurodivergent women find on-demand coaching useful when the traditional approach, where you attend a weekly or fortnightly session for 55 minutes, doesn’t quite fit.

I have worked with many neurodivergent women to support them with…

  • Understanding their parts to cope better with intense shame and negative self-talk

  • Better communication to support intimate and familial relationships

  • Coaching for late diagnosis of neurodivergence

  • Tools to help with neuro-spicy family dynamics

  • Building confidence and self-esteem

  • Reconnecting with the Self

  • Embracing the emotional, cognitive, and physical changes of menopause

  • Learning how to regulate and have a more flexible nervous system

  • Setting healthy boundaries at work and in relationships

  • Understanding their neurobiology to create a more balanced life

  • Setting goals and plans, building accountability

  • Developing low-demand healthy habits and approaches that work with the ND brain

  • Rediscovering a sense of purpose and joy in life

  • Deeply understanding and accepting their strengths and challenges as an ND woman

An on-demand approach to therapeutic coaching works a little differently. There is much more emphasis on coaching, in that it is a client-led and forward focused. After an initial getting to know you session, we can then work with a range of on-demand ‘channels’ to support you when you actually need it, instead of having to wait for your next session.

Discovery: a period of getting to know each other to create a safe client-coach relationship. We work together to identify the resources you need to support you, and recognise the resources you already have. We do a deep dive to understand what it is you want to work on, and the things that you feel are holding you back. I help you start to develop a deeper understanding of your unique brain and neurotype.

On-Demand: this is where we can start to work with any traumatic experiences, challenges, or emotional difficulties you are dealing with. You can book a half hour online session through my website to talk through a particular topic. Or send me an email to explore a challenge you are experiencing. You can even leave me a voice note. It is much more instant, flexible, and responsive to where you are in that moment.

Integration and Closure: as with my standard approach to therapeutic coaching, as we near the end of our working relationship together, we are looking at cementing the understanding and realisations you've experienced and discovered. I can help you form an action plan to support yourself going forwards.

There’s more information on how it works and pricing further down this page.

I offer anyone considering working with me a free 30 minute consultation so we can discuss your needs and concerns and you can ask any questions that you have. I’ll talk you through options and fees and we come up with a plan together.

About Neurodivergent Therapeutic Coaching

Trauma-informed therapeutic coaching for neurodivergent women is an approach that recognises the profound impact of neurodivergent trauma, and the associated stress and anxiety that can bring, on the mind-body. Using this method, I combine traditional coaching techniques with an understanding of how the neurodivergent brain works.

Neurodivergent individuals have experienced trauma to a much higher level than the rest of the population. This is due to the impact of being misunderstood, othered, and ostracised throughout their lives. Having trauma stored in your body and psyche is going to make the challenges of neurodivergence even greater. The purpose of coaching is to help you see your strengths, understand your challenges, and work with your unique neurobiology to help you thrive instead of constantly struggling.

I am also trained in a number of psychotherapeutic techniques including Somatic Therapy and Healing, Internal Family Systems (parts work), ACT, and EFT. I bring in these techniques, along with my knowledge of the body from nearly three decades of teaching yoga and dance, to support you holistically.

Parts work is one of my favourite modalities. The fundamental premise of parts work is that everyone has a "Self," which is characterised by qualities such as curiosity, compassion, and calmness. I would also call this Self our ventral vagal energy (from polyvagal theory) or our true nature. You can also think of it as your soul or higher self.

In this framework, I create a safe and supportive environment, emphasising the importance of body awareness as a pathway to setting attainable goals. Central to somatic trauma-informed coaching is the understanding that trauma can manifest physically through hyperarousal of the nervous system, physical and social disconnection, and interoceptive cues that are too big or too small.

By focusing on somatic sensations, I help you safely explore these sensations, emotions, and thoughts, developing a deeper awareness of how these elements are interconnected. And affect your health, life and career as a neurodivergent woman.

In sessions, I utilise techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, spirituality, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and interoceptive awareness to help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom. These practices can build nervous system resilience and flexibility, fostering a greater sense of agency in your life.

Benefits of On-Demand Therapeutic Coaching

Anyone can benefit from therapeutic coaching. My focus is on helping you create a compassionate relationship with yourself, enabling healing and growth.

The overall aim is to help you set meaningful goals, identify your blockers (the things holding you back), and then work to remove or navigate them in a neurodivergent-friendly way so you can create a life with more meaning, fulfilment, and joy.

The on-demand aspect makes deep, therapeutic work highly flexible and accessible, offering support exactly when you need it.

  • Less Pressure: Because you're not always trying to articulate complex feelings under the pressure of a ticking clock, you can take time to craft your messages. This process of writing out your feelings can be therapeutic in itself, leading to deeper insight.

  • In the Moment Work: Instead of waiting days to discuss a problem that arose on Monday, you can process it on Tuesday. This real-time application of coping mechanisms and self-compassion tools is a powerful accelerator for change.

  • Sustainable Habit Building: On-demand communication allows me to be a supportive guide as you practice new habits in your daily life. I can provide timely feedback and accountability, helping new behaviours truly stick.

How It Works

You start with a free 30 minute consultation with me so we can discuss your concerns and answer all your questions about my services. I advise you as to which approach is most suited to you and we work out if we are a good fit for each other. You are under no obligation at this point to continue working with me.

If we agree to work together, you decide how many hours of credit you want to purchase. A minimum of 2-hours is required, up to a maximum of 10-hours, paid in full upfront. Most clients like to purchase 5 hours at a time.

Our first session lasts 45 minutes which is what I call Discovery and is included in your overall package, meaning it doesn’t come out of your overall credit. This is your opportunity to share more about your concerns and challenges related to your neurotype.

We then move into the main body of therapeutic work together, using my blend of approaches to help you access your parts that need compassionate care and loving kindness, and understand your neurotype in depth. We can use voice notes, emails, short online video calls, or a full session in person or online if you wish. You choose how and when you want to communicate.

Pricing:

  • £80 per hour, minimum purchase 2-hours

  • Discovery is free

  • No expiry, and you’re not tied into a subscription

You can either book a free 30 minute consultation with me to discuss your concerns.

Or if you’re not ready for that yet, drop me an enquiry form and let’s chat on email.

I will respond within 24 hours Mon to Fri, so check your junk mail and filters.

I’ll also automatically sign you up to receiving my weekly emails, filled with tips to regulate the nervous system and support your health. You can opt out later if you find they’re not for you.
